Q: Can I use the Lip Enhancer with lip injections or lip augmentation?

 

A: Yes, the Lip Enhancer is the perfect complement to those procedures. As you know, the basis of Restylane is Hyaluronic Acid.  Many physicians who are using Restylane and other lip fillers are automatically including the CLINICIANS COMPLEX Lip Enhancer as part of the lip injection cosmetic procedure. The CLINICIANS COMPLEX Lip Enhancer is formulated to increase the size, enhance the color, provide moisture, gloss and rejuvenate the lips.  It can also be used as a stand-alone retail product for the patient that does not have the resources or time for lip injections or lip augmentation.

 

Q: How many applications are in the Lip Enhancer?

 

A: 1/4oz. Tube with applicator with average of 150 applications.

 

Q: How soon can you see the short-term lip plumping benefits?

 

A: The niacin provides instant lip plumping that works in 1-2 minutes and last for hours.

 

Q:  What are the long-term lip plumping benefits with the Lip Enhancer?

 

A: The peptides, which are amino acids, with continued use will stimulate the production of Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid in the lips for a long-term lip plumping after 29 days of continued use (3 times per day).  An increase of total midline red lip 13.59% and total lateral red lip of 12.54% at 30 minutes after one application was noted. Research study available upon request.

 

Q: Can the patient use a lip liner and lipstick with the Lip Enhancer?

 

A: Apply the Lip Enhancer, then wait 5 minutes and apply your favorite lip liner and lipstick if needed.

 

Q: How long does it takes for orders to ship?

 

A: Normal orders are shipped within 24 hours of receipt.

 

Q: Can I use the Microdermabrasion Cream in conjunction with in-office microdermabrasion machine treatments, IPL treatments, chemical peels or other type procedures?

 

A: Yes, the Microdermabrasion Cream can be used in conjunction with those procedures. It can enhance the results by exfoliating the skin prior to the treatment. Have the patient gently massage the cream into the skin the morning of the appointment or the night before the appointment for 15-30 seconds. Rinse very well with water and pat dry. Also, it helps to keep the skin smooth and radiant between in-office microdermabrasion machine treatments.  This is excellent to use as a home care maintenance product after you complete a series of microdermabrasion machine treatments. Finally, use as a stand-alone retail product for the patient who does not have the time or resources for in office microdermabrasion machine treatments.

 

Q: What is the stability of the Brightening Cream, Lip Enhancer and Super C-Plus Serum?

 

A: These are guaranteed stable for 2 years. This is a critical factor in skin brightening and Vitamin C products.

 

Q: Can the patient use the CLINICIANS COMPLEX products while they are pregnant or nursing?

 

A: Please have the patient consult with their OB/Gyn physician before using the products.  A complete ingredient listings is available on the website.

 

Q: What is the primary difference between a treatment product and a moisturizer?

 

A: Treatment products have a higher level of active ingredients. Normally, the purpose is to provide skin lightening, firming, and other anti-aging benefits.  A moisturizer normally has lower levels of active ingredients, and it is primarily for hydration purposes. It is important that moisturizers should be applied over treatment products.

 

Q: Does the patient need to apply a sunscreen when using the products? .

 

A: We always recommended applying a minimum of SPF 30, especially when using brightening, Retinol and other ingredients. Most importantly the sunscreen should contain a physical block such as Zinc Oxide to provide a broad spectrum UVA & UVB protection.
